Participant Agreement & Disclaimer
Stretching for the Inflexible is a gentle, exploratory movement practice designed to support comfort, mobility, and ease. This agreement affirms your agency in choosing what feels right for your body.
Your Autonomy
· You are the expert on your own body.
· You choose which movements to explore, modify, or skip.
· You are encouraged to rest at any time, change position, or opt out of anything that doesn’t feel supportive.
Nature of the Practice
· This class offers suggestions, not prescriptions.
· Movements are invitational and non‑competitive.
· There is no expectation to achieve particular shapes, levels of flexibility, or performance outcomes.
Your Responsibility
By agreeing to this, you acknowledge that:
· You participate at your own pace and within your own comfort levels.
· You will listen to your body and make choices that feel safe and appropriate for you.
· You will inform the facilitator of any relevant injuries, conditions, or concerns if you wish, understanding that this helps tailor guidance but does not replace professional medical advice.
Facilitator Role
· The facilitator provides guidance, options, and education to support your exploration.
· They do not diagnose, treat, or offer medical advice.
· You are responsible for seeking professional medical support if you have concerns about your health or suitability for movement activities.
Assumption of Responsibility
By agreeing to this form, you understand that:
· All movement carries some inherent risk, even gentle movement.
· You accept responsibility for your own choices and participation.
· You release the facilitator and venue from liability for injuries or discomfort that may arise from your participation, except where required by law.
